The basis of the research project titled "Development of a testing method based on physiological and psychological personal calibration data and a suitability testing system working on neurofeedback principles" with identification number KFI_16-1-2017-0567 is the increased emphasis on mental suitability and state screening during the suitability testing of individuals performing tasks with high responsibility or particularly high loads (e.g. aircrew) in recent times. As part of the development, a new calibration methodology that records individual baseline values and a correlation-based evaluation algorithm targeted at real situations will be developed. In addition, an integrated multi-channel measuring system will be developed for testing based on the methodology. Beyond complex examinations, the system will be suitable for measuring instrumental stress levels and for protocol-based screening. The innovation resulting from the project will reduce the danger and risk caused by the mental state of individuals performing tasks with high demand, when applied to suitability testing.
